Safety First
The primary reason that Miller's carries Woodplay® playsets is that safety is their first and last concern. Their engineers safety-check each set to make sure it meets their demanding standards. Decks are securely fastened to frames for extra stability.
Each timber is planed twice and edges are rounded and hand-sanded to protect little hands. Woodplay even Plastisol-coats the galvanized  swing chains so they won't pinch hands. And Woodplay playsets are finished with a specially formulated non-toxic Stain/Sealant that protects both your investment, and your little ones' health.
Woodplay's angled safety ladders allow young children to safely reach the upper levels the sets and the non-slip Flat Steel Safety Rungs eliminate the dangers of slippery round rungs.
Over-Engineered
Woodplay uses only the finest materials to manufacture their sets, to ensure they can withstand years of rambunctious play. Heavy 4" x 4" and 4" x 6" timbers for frame and safety rails and 2" x 6" deck timbers are all Premium Grade Lumber. All Woodplay structural and ground-contact components (unlike pressure-treated lumber) are decay and insect resistant throughout the lumber, not just on the surface. Only heavy-duty, large-diameter galvanized hardware  is used for superior strength and rust protection - not the small-diameter, zinc-coated hardware of some manufacturers. Woodplay even uses engineer-proven 3-way interlocking lag bolt construction, resulting in more rigid joints and a stronger structure than ordinary 2-way carriage bolt connections. By using only the best materials, Woodplay is able to offer the BEST WARRANTY IN THE INDUSTRY - just one more reason you won't find a better quality playset on the market.
Woodplay® and the Environment
Woodplay uses New Growth Coastal Redwood, a naturally beautiful, insect and decay resistant, construction-friendly lumber that reflects our commitment to the environment. No dangerous chemical preservatives are needed to pressure-treat the wood, and it's one of the fastest growing woods in North America, making it an easily renewable resource. Ambitious reforestation programs plant five new trees for every one harvested, and all on our suppliers' own land.
